Mycobacterium intracellulare ATCC 13950

 

Mycobacterium intracellulare ATCC 13950 is an opportunistic pathogen belonging to the Mycobacterium avium complex (MAC) (Kim et al., 2012d). It is a non-tuberculosis mycobacterium associated with pulmonary infections. The genome is characterized by a high GC content of 68.10% and was sequenced at Asan medical center, Seoul, Korea (http://img.jgi.doe.gov/cgi-bin/w/main.cgi).
